Frequently Asked Questions

Wedding

When should I book you for my wedding?

I recommend booking anywhere between 6 months-1 year in advance.  This will give you the best chance at getting your date when it's available! Dates are first come first serve, so whoever books first gets the date/first pick on their time of services. Your date is not saved unless you are officially booked, no matter how long we've been discussing your wedding,  or even if we've already done a trial!

What is included in my wedding makeup service?

Here's a list of what can be expected in each makeup service.

How much time do you need to get everyone ready on my wedding day?

I will create and send you an itinerary for the day, so you know exactly how much time everyone will need and what time we will start services. Typically the bride will get an allotted time of 2 hours for makeup and 1 hour for hair and the wedding party will get an allotted time of 1-1 1/2 hours for makeup and  30-45 minutes for hair.

Do we need to bring any of our own makeup or hair products?

Nope! I will bring all the products I need to do your hair and makeup. However, if there's certain products of your own that you would prefer to use because you know they work well for you, I am more than happy to use them! If you or anyone in the party has allergies or special requests please consult with me beforehand.

How can my wedding party and I come prepared on the wedding day?

Make sure everyone gets my in prep guides prior to the wedding day!

Everyone should be present 30 minutes before their set time of services

Please wear robes/dressing gowns or something that can be easily taken off without needing to get pulled over the head

Everyone should have inspiration pictures picked out and easily assessable

Coordinate the payment details amongst yourselves before we arrive.

What is your traveling policy?

Anytime I am coming to you, there will be a travel fee added onto your total cost for the day. You can find my travel fee costs under Pricing>Travel. Any out of town travel, I require a minimum of $400 in services to book.

What do you require from me on the wedding day?

A large table to set up on near an electrical outlet

As much natural light as possible

Final wedding payment

Trials

When should I book my trial?

I recommend to book your trial for 1-3 months before your wedding. However, I do offer trials outside of that timeframe if you prefer! Just message me and we can figure it out together.

Do I need to bring my veil and other hair accessories?

Yes please! I suggest bringing your veil, any additional hair accessories, and any extensions you may want on the day of your wedding

Do I need to find images of the styles I like or can you just come up with something?

I do ask that clients send me pictures of their desired hair and makeup looks prior to their trial appointment. I want to make sure were spending the majority of the appointment working on recreating the look, rather than looking through Pinterest/Google for inspiration pics. I am absolutely able to customize a unique look just for you, but I still want pictures sent to me so I can have a pretty clear idea of what your vision looks like for your wedding day.

What do I need to do to prepare for my hair or makeup trial?

Look into my trial information and follow my prep guides to get the best possible outcome of your hair and makeup appointments. All this information can be found under the "important information" tab in the upper corner.
