Important Information

Trials

I recommend booking your trial for 1-3 months before your wedding. I offer trials Fridays and Sundays. I do not travel for trials, I will have you come to me at a salon.

Come to your trial as closely prepped to your wedding day as possible

If you plan to get lash extensions, your eyebrows waxed, spray tan, etc. do those same things before your trial as well! This will help you get the closest possible resemblance of what you will look like on your wedding day. This also allows you to test if your skin has any sensitivities to those services prior to your wedding!

Follow my prep guide

I created this prep guide with all my personal recommends on the best way to get the most out of your service. I highly recommend following everything suggested on it for not only your wedding, but your trial too.

Wear white

I recommend wearing white to your trial. Certain colors and patterns can affect the way makeup looks aesthetically. I would also recommend wearing as close to your dresses neckline as possible. This just gives you a better idea of what your hair and makeup will look like with your dress.

Come prepared

Make sure you come with your extensions, hair accessories, veil, or anything else you plan on using on your wedding day. Make sure to come with inspiration photos, try to pick 3 or 4 you like. Think about what it is you like about each picture. I will want to go over a couple different key points before we start and get a good idea of what your vision is before we begin.

If you're only getting one service

If you're not getting both a hair and makeup, make sure the other is done unless you have a separate trial somewhere else in the same day. If you're only getting a makeup trial, make sure to style your hair in a similar style to what you would the day of your wedding. If you're only getting a hair trial, make sure your makeup is done. This will compliment the trial being done and make everything look more cohesive. Getting a trial done with the corresponding service not done will make your trial look over the top or out of place.

Hair Preparation Guide

3+ MONTHS BEFORE

Schedule your trial. Your trial should be 1-3 months before your wedding.

Decide if you want to add extensions to your style. I highly recommend extensions as they can be a crucial help in getting a voluminous style, especially if there will be braiding or twisting involved.

If you want extensions, decide what kind you want and get them bought or installed prior to your trial if you're getting one. Extension types include temporary: clip in, halo and semi-permanent: bead, glue in, and tape in. Keep in mind if you plan on coloring your hair for your wedding, your extensions need to match the color you will have for your wedding.

If you are coloring your hair for your wedding, color it prior to your trial and just get your roots touched up as your wedding gets closer. Some styles look different on certain hair colors so it's important to do your trial with the color you plan on having for your wedding.

Decide if you want any added hair accessories and if so buy them in time for your trial if you're getting one.

DAY/NIGHT OF

Wash your hair. Shampoo twice, focus putting the majority of the soap onto your scalp. Condition once, focus putting the conditioner on to the ends of your hair only.

Come with completely dry hair.
